Donor Story: Why I Give to Guardian Group
When it comes to fighting sex trafficking, the journey to making a difference often begins with awareness. For one of our donors, that moment came a few years ago.
“I did not realize what a big problem trafficking is in this world. I knew that it existed, but until a few years ago, I had no idea how prevalent it is in other countries, and I had no idea what a big problem it is in the US. I wanted to help. I didn’t feel like I could enjoy my freedom and my life unless I was doing something to try to free others.”
Like many, she began searching for a way to help. She wanted her resources to be used with integrity and to make a real impact.
“I tried to find something someplace to give my money, and I just did not feel like I knew where to turn to give those resources to knowing that it would be used the way it should. And then I found Guardian Group, and I felt so relieved…because I know that when I donate, the money that I give is going to exactly what we hope it is, which is fulfilling this mission to free all people.”
