How to Support Guardian Group on World NGO Day
February 27th, is known across the globe as World NGO Day. A day focused on celebrating those that work tirelessly to protect our communities and those that focus efforts on improving systems, basic human rights and make positive impact across the globe.
Guardian Group is a veteran operated NGO, and it is our vision that every child in the United States lives free from sex trafficking.
We do this through our two efficient and proven strategies. Through our own expertise and the help of our crowdsourced volunteer force, we identify women and minors who are victims of domestic sex trafficking nationwide. Our no-cost support to local, state, and federal law enforcement results in increased recovery of these victims. Together we are harnessing the power of many to find the vulnerable.
Here are two ways you can join us on World NGO Day:
1. Give your TIME – volunteer through Project 1591®. The first-ever 24/7 crowdsourcing process and platform that enables volunteers to become force multipliers to our mission of illuminating child victims of sex trafficking in the United States. Use your OSINT skills for good and make a lifesaving impact on the life of a trafficking victim.
2. Give your RESOURCES – join Team 1591. Inspired by the law that protects children from being sold for sex, Team 1591 is in search of 5,240 members all willing to give at least $15.91 a month. This level of committed giving will result in an expanded Guardian Group Analysis Team and will result in a minimum of 2,300 victims identified to law enforcement for action annually. For less than $200 a year Team 1591 members will change the trajectory of sex trafficking in the Untied States.
If you are already a member of Team 1591 or Project 1591 invite someone to join you and help us expand our reach.
NGOs exist to make the world a better place and we will not stop until all are free.
