Only Possible Together

Hello,

I can’t thank you enough for the continued support this year.  As with last year, 2021 has been a tough year for many, yet that didn’t keep you from enabling us to keep pushing back against sex trafficking in the US.  I’d like to share some of the successes that you enabled.

This year we were able to introduce a new program, the PURSUIT™ Volunteer Training Course.  This course is the result of a year of collaboration with OSU – Cascades and Effectual, providing training that enables volunteers with open source intelligence (OSINT) skills to confront sex trafficking of minors in their own backyards.  We are incredibly proud of our staff for this innovative way of confronting sex trafficking and see it as our premier program in the coming months.

Because we will never rest in the fight against sex trafficking, we chose to expand our offensive efforts this year.  We are now deeply invested in fighting trafficking in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.  While we have worked in these areas in the past, we are now routinely focused on the I-35 corridor and providing leads to federal, state, and local law enforcement.  This increased focus also resulted in our dramatically increased support to law enforcement sting operations.

As with many things this last year we have continued to feel an impact in providing awareness training and education through our defense program.  We hope to get back to providing this awareness in a face-to-face manner but will continue to maintain our online content as well.  I invite all of you to contact us if you feel there is a need for community awareness in your town.  We would be more than happy to help your local communities fight the terrible crime of sex trafficking.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t take the time to talk with you about this coming year and what you can expect from Guardian Group.  First, we will continue the growth of our PURSUIT™ Volunteer Training course with the intent of having volunteers spread across the US generating leads that law enforcement can act upon.  We feel that the implementation of a volunteer program is the key to meeting the scale of the sex trafficking problem in the US.

Second, in our priorities this year is the establishment of a cadre to really take on the need for awareness training and education in communities across the country.  Not a week goes by that we don’t get a request to deliver training or education.  At our current size we are reliant on our online content.  While we will continue to maintain this content we feel it is important to get back into communities, classrooms, hospitals, and other venues.

Finally, we are proud to say that we now have a presence on the east coast.  This presence is meant to do several things.  Foremost we intend to gain better penetration to the problem of trafficking on the east coast.  This location will also allow us better access to federal law enforcement as well as national leaders in the fight against human trafficking.

I can’t tell you how proud I am of the team at Guardian Group and what they have accomplished this year.  It is not uncommon to be asked “How do we do all this with so few people?” Make no mistake, none of what we have done, none of what we will do, would be possible without your continued support.  Thank you so much.
