Teens Helping Teens: Join the Fight Against Trafficking
Did you know that right here in the United States, there are teenagers just like us who need our help? They are in tough situations, facing scary challenges, and they need someone to stand up for them. That’s where we come in!
What’s Going On?
Human trafficking is a big, complicated problem. It’s when kids or teens are taken away from their homes and families and forced to do things they don’t want to do. It’s not fair, and it’s definitely not right. But guess what? We have the power to make a difference!
How Can We Help?
By coming together, we can raise money to help these kids find safety and a better future. We’re asking for a donation of just $15.91 a month. That’s less than the cost of a new video game or a trip to the movies. With your help, we can:
Increase victim identification to law enforcement for action.
Support law enforcement by providing valuable information online to law enforcement partners for their targeted operations.
Protecting victims by enhancing law enforcement’s ability to locate victims and offer them a path to freedom.
Why $15.91?
Every penny counts, and $15.91 might seem small, but when we all chip in, it adds up to something HUGE! This number is not random, it is associated with the law in this country that says you cannot do something like this to someone under the age of 18. Your monthly donation will join with others to create a big impact, helping kids in need get the support they deserve.
What Can You Do?
1. Talk to Your Parents: Share this idea with your parents and ask them if you can donate your allowance or do extra chores to help.
2. Get Your Friends Involved: The more, the merrier! Tell your friends about the cause and ask them to join in.
