Lasting Legacy

As we prepare to celebrate Memorial Day and lives of those that gave it all for our freedom it can make us question what lasting impact our life is making on the world. At some point or another we will all face this question. There are countless methods of changing the world for the better while you are still alive and well enough to do so. However, through planned giving you can also leave a lasting impact on the fight against domestic sex trafficking as you continue to gracefully age and even after you’ve gone.

Planned giving (also known as legacy giving) is the practice of making a giving plan for your wealth for a future date. This may be through a designation in your will or trust that ensures a portion of your wealth continues the fight against sex trafficking or through tax-smart non-cash gifts.

Legacy Giving

Legacy giving can look a multitude of ways. Options include designating a specific amount or a percentage of your estate to leave for Guardian Group in your will. Another option includes designating Guardian Group as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policies. Whether you are planning to give through a trust, insurance, assets, real estate or simply a cash donation the end result is the same; lives impacted, and the world left a little bit safer.

If you would like to discuss the opportunities on how to use legacy giving to leave a lasting impacting and ensuring Guardian Group can continue our mission until all are free, contact us today.

Non-Cash Giving

Many donors make charitable gifts from cash, even though most of their wealth is held in non-cash assets. Non-cash giving is the process of giving appreciated assets such as business interests, real estate, and stocks directly to Guardian Group. Gifts of this type come with significant tax advantages for you, the donor as compared to selling the asset and then giving the proceeds to Guardian Group.

If you would like to learn more about non-cash giving options, please send us an email at contact@guardiangroup.org

Planned giving does not have to be limited to your personal wealth either. Including your business increases the ways in which you can further the impact.

Here at Guardian Group our goal is to work ourselves out of a job, however, we know that is likely not possible in our lifetimes. Knowing this we are focusing on creating a sustainable and scalable solution that will continue to support the next generation of law enforcement officers and increasingly provide freedom to those being exploited in this manner long after the lifespan of our current team. Join us through planned giving and be a part of this lasting legacy until all are free.
